Charles "Rick" Roth

"Rick" graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School and attended Auburn University. He was owner of Birmingham Drywall, Inc. The U.S. Army Veteran was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church.

Rick was a faithful husband, cherished father, and energetic friend. His special companion, his dog "Duke," was always at his side and often accompanied him to the office.

Rick was predeceased by his parents, Charlie L. Roth and Virginia H. Roth. Survivors include his wife of 38 wonderful years, Brenda J. Roth; one son and daughter-in-law, Chad Richard and Alecia Roth; step-mother, Nellie Sue Roth; beloved sister and brother-in-law, Candy and Johnny Williams; sister-in-law, Linda (Tom) Piper; two nieces, Karli Williams and Lexi Williams; two nephews, John R. (Heather) Williams and Jeff (Kaci) Williams; and special friends, Austin and Lynn Johnson.

The family will greet friends from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. Celebration of Rick's Life on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. Burial, Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. Rev. Mike Forester will officiate.
