

Wang Chong Kue, age 52, of Hoover, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015. He was born on March 4, 1963 in Phou Het, Khouang Xieng Khouang, Laos. He was the first-born son of Mr. Lasue Kue and Pang Yang.
Mr. Kue was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Kong Meng Kue.
Survivors include Mr. Kue's wife Kia Vang Kue, the daughter of Ntxoov Lis Vaaj and Npaub Lis; five children, William Sou-Ying Kue (Eily) of Ypsilanti, Michigan, James Sou-Heng Kue of Columbiana, Alabama, John Cher-Kang Kue, Rose Gao-Mong Kue, and Grace Gao-Xeng Yeng Kue; one grandchild, James Kongmeng Adams; and brothers and sisters, Ace Pob Xyoob (Mimi), Maiv Zouag (Shane), Jeff Kaus (Tracy), Maiv Kub (Dr. Taying), and Koob Meej.
Mr. Kue was a believer in God, a kind-hearted and humble man, and always willing to help those in need at his own expense. He was a man ahead of his time. Speaking five languages, he said one can never stop learning and pursued education even until his death.
During his lifetime in this country, Mr. Kue started working as a snow shoveling boy on the streets of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to become a business and computer consultant to multi-billion dollar companies.
Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to all of us.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. The Celebration of Wang Chong Kue's Life will be at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, followed by the burial at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
