

Christian graduated in 2014 from Vestavia Hills High School, where he played trombone in the marching band. He received a Bachelor’s Degree from Auburn University in 2018 and a Master’s Degree in Entomology and Plant Pathology in 2020.
Christian enjoyed various professional positions in his field in the states of Tennessee, New York, and New Jersey, and returned home to Alabama in 2024.
As a young child, he had a passion for dinosaurs which led to his interest in reptiles and insects. He loved his furry friends, especially his rescue beagle, Buddy. He enjoyed working and gardening outdoors, fishing, hiking, traveling, and attending concerts with his friends. He was also known for his culinary skills.
Christian is survived by his mother, Laura Steiner; his father, Kenneth Baker; his brothers, Bryant, Paul, and Ross Baker; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, from 1-2 p.m., followed by A Celebration of Christian's Life at 2 p.m. and private burial. Ridout's Southern Heritage is at 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL, 35124.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made in Christian Baker’s name to The Greater Birmingham Humane Society or First Light Women’s Shelter.
