AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Daniel "Danny" Stevens Boyd

5 août 1957 – 23 avril 2020
Avis de décès de Daniel "Danny" Stevens Boyd
AUX SOINS DE

Southern Heritage Funeral Home & Cemetery

Daniel Stevens Boyd “Danny,” age 62, of Hoover, Alabama went to be with the Lord and received his wings on Thursday, April 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his mother, Celia Menefee Armstrong, and his father, C.M. “Pete” Boyd.

Danny is survived by his wife of 40 years, Laura Howard Boyd; daughter, Katie Boyd; granddaughter, Lucy (who clearly was the apple of his eye); as well as his sister, Jennie Barrett (Nealy) of Wetumpka, Alabama; brothers, Jim Boyd (Kathleen) of Germantown, Tennessee, Johnny Boyd of Wetumpka, and Jeff Boyd (Jennifer) of Sprague, Alabama; and many nieces and nephews.

Danny was the owner of Southeast Alarm, Inc and loved hunting, fishing, playing the harmonica, and Auburn University. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, leaving a legacy of kindness and generosity with a huge splash of fun!

Danny was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church. He was always the first one to answer in an emergency and would give you the shirt off of his back.

The family will have a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lucy’s college fund at https://everloved.com/life-of/danny-boyd/.
