Rev. David E. Cash, age 96 of Vestavia, died March 12, 2016. He was a native of Arkansas, however had lived most of his life in Alabama. He was a WWII veteran, and a retired minister and member of Sharing the Word Church.
Rev. Cash was preceded in death by his wife, Rose, and 8 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, James E. Cash (Jackie); daughter, Joyce Cash Burgin (John); granddaughter, Holly Burgin Watson (Daniel) and great grandchildren, Adelay, Ianthe-Rose, and Jude Riley-David Watson.
Visitation will be 5pm-7pm on Friday, March 18, 2016 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The celebration of Rev. Cash’s life will be at 2pm on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Southern Heritage, with burial at Brasher Cemetery at Abundant Grace Church.
