David J. Pearce

Pearce, David J. DVM age 39, of Hoover, Alabama, passed away on January 20, 2012. David grew up in Rainbow City AL, and graduated from Southside High School in 1990 and graduated from Auburn University, with a BS and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. David was the owner of Patton Chapel Animal Clinic in Hoover, AL, and a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church in Helena, David was also a member of the Metro Sertoma Club. David's favorite past time was spending time with his beloved girls and attending Auburn Football Games, "War Eagle". He was preceded in death by his Grandfather; James J. (Sam) Pearce, aunt; Donna Scorey. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Mrs. Lisa Pearce, his beloved children; Samantha, Kaitlyn and Hannah all of Helena, AL., parents; Charles Judson and Sandra Pearce of Rainbow City, AL, grandparents; Frankie Pearce of Chattanooga, TN., Ed and Ila Partain of Gadsden AL., brother; Charles James (Leslie) Pearce of Rainbow City, AL, uncle; George Scorey of Chattanooga TN., cousins; Bill (Mindi) Scorey and Steve Scorey. Funeral services will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home January 25, 2012 at 12:00pm with burial in Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center.
