David Aeron Reid, 77 of Warrior, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016. David was a retired car salesman who worked in the Birmingham and Cullman areas for over 40 years. He also served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 years.
Mr. Reid is preceded in death by his parents, Tommie Reid and Paul David Reid. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Beth Reid; daughters, Carmen Morris (Randy), Rhonda Dodd and Tracey Ponder (Allen); granddaughters, Brooke Miller (Jon) and Brittney Price; great grandchildren, Mason Miller and Maggie Miller; sisters, Pat Ward and Sue Jackson (Gene) and a host of other family and friends. David will also be greatly missed by his faithful dog, Buddy.
The celebration of David’s life will be at 6pm on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham. The family will receive friends from 4pm until 6pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Birmingham Humane Society.
