Elsie Donahue, 78 of Alabaster, passed away on Tuesday, January 09, 2018. Elsie was born in Church Point, Louisiana to J.B. and Eunice Murphy. She completed her education as a nursing assistant and retired from UAB as a Sr. MIST Operator. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
Mrs. Donahue is survived by her loving husband, Billy Donahue; children, Sheryl Ratigan (Terry); Mike Latham, Steve Latham, Shawn Donahue and Angela Donahue Berumen (Ciro); grandchildren, Brian Ratigan (Marion), Kevin Ratigan (Suzie) and Carolina Berumen.
The celebration of Elsie’s life will be at 2pm on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1pm.
