Booth, Emory Holston, age 94, of Helena, passed away Friday, May 13, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.T. (Vess) Booth; and her mother, Henrietta Holston. She is survived by her two sons; Wayne Booth (Ann) and Ronnie Booth (Lanis); two grandchildren, Kelly Booth Ellison (Steve) and Wayne Booth Jr. (Catalina); four great grandchildren, Stephen Ellison, Joshua Ellison, Emory Booth, and Catherine Booth; one brother-in-law, Cecil Booth (Micky); and numerous nieces and nephews. Emory was a long time member at First Baptist Church of Helena. She was involved in many activities at her church including Sunday School teacher, WMU, and Vacation Bible School. Services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at First Baptist Church of Helena. Visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 AM (9:30 – 10:00 for family) followed by a celebration of her life at 11:00 AM. Dr. Greg Walker will officiate. Burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Helena, 815 Highway 52 East, Helena, Alabama 35080.
