Frances (Fran) Jane Lovoy, born February 13, 1962, passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2023. She has joined her parents in Heaven, Anthony and Marie Lovoy, giving her mother the best Mother’s Day ever. She is survived by the love of her life Matthew (Matt) Phillips; her brothers Lee (Temple) Lovoy, Tuscaloosa; John (Sharon) Lovoy; and Mark (Julie) Lovoy, Tuscaloosa. She was lucky enough to also be a part of Matt’s family which includes his parents, father Max (Margo) Phillips and mother Phyllis (Ray) Ellison. She is also honored and loved by a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. An amazing chef, writer, and a lover of music, Fran was known for her creativity and her ability to love wholeheartedly. She will truly be missed.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20, at 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4600 Preserve Pkwy, Hoover, AL 35226 followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am. Fr. John Fallon officiating.
