Frank Andrew Gurosky

Frank married Nancy West on April 22, 1966. He graduated from Hueytown High School, attended Jefferson State, and had a career in accounting with Birmingham Southern Railroad. He was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church and the Kiwanis Club, and enjoyed golf, cars, the church, and his family.

To know Frank was to experience true kindness and selflessness. No matter what hardships life threw at him, he always kept a smile on his face and kept a positive mindset. He constantly kept his family at the forefront of his life, aiming to make every person important to him feel loved and cared for.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ellen Gurosky of Birmingham, Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Gurosky; his son, David Gurosky (daughter-in-law, Lauren Gurosky); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kristen Gurosky; his sister, Ella June Gurosky Lyford (brother-in-law, Ben Lyford); and those whom he treated and loved like family.

The visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2026, followed by the Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. in the Chapel at Hunter Street Baptist Church in Hoover, Alabama.
