Garrett was a senior at Oak Mountain High School. He loved participating in the school choir and was passionate about the outdoors, especially hiking and rock climbing. Garrett also loved gaming, his job at UltraBlast, and his beloved dog Jack.
"G" was kind, tenderhearted and a tremendous giver of his time and heart to others. He was a treasured son, grandson, brother, cousin, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
Garrett is survived by his parents, Charles Henson and Kimberly Raynor Henson; sister, Logan Grace Henson; brother, Zachary Henson; grandparents, Charles and Sammie Henson, and Hugh and Nancy Raynor; aunts, Jennifer Boone (John) and Shelby Beams (Jeff); and cousins, Savanna, Trenton, Tyler, and Sydney.
The funeral service for Garrett will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. Open visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time in the funeral home's chapel.
