Hannah Kathryn Frey

FREY, HANNAH Hannah Frey, age 24, of Birmingham, died suddenly in a tragic accident on Friday 18 February 2011. Hannah was born in Birmingham and attended Vestavia schools in addition to UAB. Her infectious laugh and sparkle illuminated all who knew her, whether it be on the athletic fields, dance or in school. Growing up, she was constantly surrounded by friends who loved her and will dearly miss her. Her family meant much to her as did the light of her life, her daughter Kathryn. She is survived by her father, Dr. James Frey of Birmingham, her mother, Joyce Frey of Whittier, North Carolina, brother Ben of Madison, Wisconsin and grandmother, Helene Frey of Birmingham in addition to her daughter, Kathryn. Other surviving members of her family include a host of loving uncles, aunts with numerous cousins. Visitation will be at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church on Tuesday February 22 from 11 am to 1 pm followed by the memorial service at Vestavia United Methodist Church 2061 Kentucky Avenue, Vestavia Hills, Alabama 35216. A private family burial service will be conducted at Ridout's Southern Heritage Cemetery after the service.
