Harold was retired from Life of Georgia Insurance Co. and owned Roberts Appliances. He was an active member of 1st Baptist Church of Pelham.
Harold was preceded in death by one son, Tim Roberts.
Survivors include Harold's wife of 16 years, Barbara Roberts; two daughters, Rhonda Hatcher and Cheri Clark (Tim); two sons, Steve Roberts (Lynn) and Jonathan Roberts (Andrea); eight grandchildren, Amanda Clark Owens (Stephen), Nic Hatcher (Robin), Christopher Clark, Matt Hatcher, Taylor Hatcher, Tyson Mayhall, Austin Roberts, and Dawson Roberts; two great-grandchildren, Caison Hatcher and Jackson Owens; two brothers, Duel Roberts (Mary) and Cliff Roberts (Nancy); and other family and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2013 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Burial, Elmwood Cemetery, Birmingham.
