Henry Gass

Henry was retired from Montgomery Water Works and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He enjoyed being a Chelsea Worship Leader at New Bethesda Baptist. He was also a musician who loved to play the piano, guitar, bango, harmonica and violin.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry A. Gass and Mary Bullard; one brother, Walter Gros of Lafayette, La.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gass; children, Lorie Kirkland (John) of Hoover, AL; Lisa Waddell (Tommy) of Hoover, AL; Amy Harper (Dwight) of Gadsden, AL; grandchildren, Emily Hughes (Gregg), Hunter Harper, Joshua Kirkland, Luke Kirkland, John Mark Kirkland, Peter Kirkland, Kinna Harper; great-grandchildren, Presley Howell and Zoe Harper.

A graveside service will be held at Liberty Baptist Cemetery in Chelsea, Alabama on Wednesday, January 6 at 1:00 pm officiated by Tim Cox and John Mooney. Mike and Lori May & praise team from Liberty Baptist Church will celebrate Henry's life with special praises. Family and Friends are required to wear masks at graveside service.

Pallbearers will be: Joshua, Luke, John Mark, Peter, John, Tommy, and Dwight.
