Howard "Buzz" L. Manning, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard L Manning Sr and Edwina Richardson Manning. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Barbara Robinson Manning, his sister Jane Manning Cline, children Mark Howard Manning (Stacey), Cindy Manning Barr (Robert Jr), and grandchildren Lucy Manning Barr, Robert “Jake” E Barr III (Katelyn), Mark Stephen Riley Manning, and Lorelai Marie Manning.

Buzz worked for Rust Engineering upon graduating from Auburn University. He loved working with his hands and was able to fulfill this joy in both his professional and personal life. His love of building, carpentry, gardening, and above all, family, is easily recognized throughout his home and his wife’s business, Attic Antiques. Buzz was also one of the founding members of Briarwood Presbyterian Church and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services are to be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home located at 475 Cahaba Valley Road Pelham, AL 35124 on Tuesday 12/28/2021. Visitation is from 10AM-11AM with the service immediately following.
