Hugh Laverne Talbert, III

Hugh worked at Carmeuse Lime for 13 years, most recently as an area regional safety manager. The 1986 graduate of Thompson High School achieved his bachelor degree in 1991 at the University of Alabama.

Hugh was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Alabaster, AL. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter, woodworker, and beekeeper.

Survivors include Hugh's wife of 22 years, Angela Boshell Talbert; his parents, Hugh and Sue Talbert; two daughters, Emily Claire Talbert and Caroline Elise Talbert; one son, Jacob Price Talbert; grandmother, Doris French; brother and sister-in-law, Brent Lyle Talbert and his wife Brooke; mother- and father-in-law, Jean and Jerry Boshell; brother- and sister-in-law, Todd Boshell and his wife Lisa; sister- and brother-in-law, Jennifer McGriff and her husband Travis; and three nephews, Brady and Bryant Talbert, and Maddox McGriff.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Westwood Baptist Church, Alabaster. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Westwood Baptist Church, and burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery in Pelham, AL. Rev. Rick Swing and Rev. Kenneth Bruce will officiate.
