

Jack Vincent DiGiorgio (84) went to be with our Lord on May 27, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Birmingham, AL to Vincent and Nell Marino DiGiorgio. He attended Ensley High School where he met his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Jean Dattoli/Dottley DiGiorgio. Their union was blessed with three daughters. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He began his working life being self-employed with his father in remodeling and construction. Later he redirected his business to Heating and Cooling as DiGiorgio Service. He worked hard all of his life and was known as a man who could repair almost anything. He loved spending time with family, being at the lake, barbequing and watching Alabama football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Nell Marino DiGiorgio.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jean Dattoli/Dottley DiGiorgio; His daughters, Tina Dunne (Sam), Mary DiGiorgio, and Suzanne Corso (John); his six grandchildren Sam Dunne, Jack Vibbert (Ashley), Melissa Dunne Crochet (Matthew), Jillian Vibbert Sawyer (Christopher), Andrew Corso and Elizabeth Corso; His great-grandchildren; Madelyn Vibbert, Christopher Jacob (C.J.) Sawyer, Jonah Vibbert and baby Crochet to be born in September. He is also survived by his sister Rosemary Digesu, brothers Bernard DiGiorgio (Priscilla) and John DiGiorgio as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover, Alabama on June 2. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. A graveside service will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
