He received his degree in Mathematics and Physics from UAB and worked for over 30 years for Bellsouth.
Jack had a heart of gold and a contagious smile. He dedicated his life to serving his community and played a huge role in making Helena a great place to live. In his spare time, Jack was a puzzle enthusiast, loved Alabama Football, and enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Gray; mother, Marie Flowers; and brother, John “Dwight” Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Stephanie Gray; his children, Paul Gray and wife Cheri, Sharon Gray and husband CJ Crum, Gwen Gray and wife Kat, Melanie Goodwin and husband Josh; and grandchildren Lizzy Plaia and Wyatt Goodwin.
A celebration of life will be held on June 7, 2025, at Southern Heritage in Pelham, AL, at 2:00pm.
