James M. Gardner, age 89, of Helena, formerly from the Montgomery area,passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014. Mr. Gardner was a Marine veteran of World War ll and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He is survived by his daughter; Karen Renee DeLeonard - Nall and her husband, Joseph Nall, grandson; Anthony Michael DeLeonard and granddaughter; Stephanie Lynn DeLeonard.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in pelham. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. following the visitation.
