James "Wesley" Siddens

Wesley graduated from John T. Morgan Academy in Selma before earning his Bachelor Degree in Accounting and his Master Degree in Tax at the University of Alabama. He was a member of Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society of Accounting and Leadership Selma-Dallas County.

Wesley worked in Public Accounting with firms in Birmingham until he moved back to Selma to work for his family. His favorite pastimes included being in the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Wesley was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Beverly Jordan Siddens and Earl Oakley Siddens, and his maternal grandfather, James O'Neal Brewer. Survivors include Wesley's parents, Leigh Brewer Siddens and James Earl "Jimmy" Siddens; wife, Christina Bernheim Siddens; maternal grandmother, Mary Lois Brewer; one brother, Wade Siddens; and one sister, Megan Leigh Siddens.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until A Service of Remembrance for Wesley at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. Interment will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. Dr. Jerry Light will officiate.
