Janice Fay Roberts

Janice graduated from Chenoa High School. She was married to Chester Roberts on March 26, 1967, beginning her long career as a wife, homemaker, mother, and grandmother.

Janice was predeceased by her parents, Arnold F. Wade and Zonie Wade; one brother, Cecil Wade; and brother-in-law, Fred Putnam.

Survivors include Janice's husband of 54 years, Chester Roberts; their two daughters, Christina Palermo and Ginger Wood (married to Dennis Wood); grandchildren, Dustin Wood, Douglas Wood, Callie Wood, Haley Palermo, and Allison Palermo; one sister, Betty Putnam; one brother, John Wade; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.

Family and friends are invited to A Service of Remembrance for Janice at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124. Following the service, the gravesite committal service will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Mount Signal Cemetery, 7495 Old Highway 280, Chelsea, AL 35147.
