Jeffrey Grant McLane, loving father, loyal son, dear brother, and friend and mentor to many, died in a tragic, car-related accident on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. He was 41 years of age, and leaves behind 6-year-old daughter Alston, father Jim, brother Brad, and countless others who grieve this tremendous loss.
Jeff was, above all, a dedicated and loving father, and a loyal and true friend. As the Chief Operating Officer at NaphCare, Inc., he was a respected business leader and wise beyond his years. He had a gift for turning any situation into a good joke, and kept everyone laughing. He was an avid hunter and loved being out in Alabama’s woodlands – spending as much time hunting as he could get away with.
There are no words to express the grief and heartache that Jeff's untimely death visits on the many who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama. A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, followed by the burial at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
