Mr. Ferguson...my second grade teacher at Glen Iris Elementary School. You are to this day, one of my favorite teachers, and you forever will be. Love you always!

Joe was a hoot!  Joe loved being an educator, I am glad I helped him to see the light in the library.  He loved sharing books and the magic of Destiny with his children.  The joy of hanging with Joe at Library EXPO was his birthday celebration.  I was his Mama Sadie and he was my Tiger Pride. From the old JVE librarian to the new JV librarian - much love and deep sympathy.

Joe was always fun and light-hearted, accepting whatever came our way in "library land".  His opinions and comments were always appreciated by so many of us.  Still shocked that he is gone from us! Prayers for his family, close friends and loved ones.

You will be missed. Praying for the family.

Well I am in disbelief from hearing about your passing Fergie. We had some good times at the Valley eating lunch and talking about all kinds of stuff. You always had something funny to say and when I moved to Green Acres I would always miss our lunches together. I am going to miss you friend. Until we meet again Joe  know that the lunch gang will miss your smile, your jokes and your witty charm! Must love friend and rest in heaven.

My beloved "Jodi", I love and miss you more than any but you can know. From out first meeting @ John Carroll until our last a few short months ago, your incessant love, joy, and sweet witty irreverence have graced my heart. Dance now, my love, with the angels... until we meet again.

Oh at the hours Joe and I spent in meetings together...and the laughs we had at the expense of others! We also shared a love of Auburn football.  I will miss him.  We had a phone call last week and he told me he wasn't feeling well. I can't wrap my mind around the fact that he is no longer with us.

My prayers are with the family and The Jones Valley School, in the mornings after dropping my daughter off at school I would meet him on his way to work.Really going to miss that gleaming smile.
