Joseph Wade Feltman, age 56, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on June 12, 2019 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on October 15, 1962 in Hamilton, Alabama. Joseph was a Senior Software Engineer at EBSCO in Birmingham, AL for 18 years. He was a member of Church of the Highlands. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will always be remembered for his faith in God, his love for his family, Alabama football, woodworking, and being outdoors.
Preceded in death by parents, Reverend Max and Vertie Feltman. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Daphne Renee Feltman; sons, Spencer Feltman (Caroline) and Evan Feltman (Jennifer); beloved granddaughter, Monroe Elizabeth Feltman; sister Teresa Frost (Steve); nephew, Mark Frost; niece, Ashley Roper; and great nephews, Christian Roper and Ashton Roper.
A celebration of life service will be held in The Chapel at the Grants Mill Campus of Church of the Highlands on June 18, 2019 at 11:30 AM at 4700 Highlands Way, Birmingham, AL 35210. Visitation with the family will be held immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Jimmie Hale Mission, P.O. Box 10472, Birmingham, AL 35202.
