Paul passed away on Monday at the age of 74. Paul was an electrician for Pullman Standard. He served as a bivocational minister for Shelby and Jefferson Counties. Paul is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Joseph Paul “Joey” Lutz; as well as several brothers and sisters. Paul is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Pitts Lutz; daughters, Cliassa Edwards (Kevin Crouch) and Paula Davenport (Bret); 5 grandchildren, Raven Edwards, Ashton Joseph (Daniel), Heath Davenport, Haley Davenport, and Houston Davenport; 1 great grandchild, Dax Joseph; 1 sister, Helen Green; 1 sister in law, Gaynell Hill (Jim); also numerus nieces and nephews. A special thanks to all the caregivers at Princeton Hospital for showing their compassion to the family. The visitation will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm, with a funeral service held at Shadescrest Baptist Church on Thursday at 1pm with a visitation starting one hour prior.
