Keith Edwin Nance was born on July 24, 1954, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the union of Frank Nance and Jacqueline Swisher. He passed away on August 12, 2025, in Pelham, Alabama, and is under the care of Southern Heritage Funeral Home & Cemetery.
On March 20, 1976, Keith was united in holy matrimony with Dianne Hunter in Pensacola, Florida. Their loving union was blessed with one son, Ryan Nance.
Keith proudly served his country in the United States Navy as an Electronics Technician First Class. Following his service, he was employed by AGFA for 40 years as a Computer Technician, where he retired.
In his leisure, Keith enjoyed golfing and bowling with his son, Ryan, and his many friends. He traveled nationwide competing in both golf and bowling tournaments, spending his days on the greens and his nights on the lanes. His impressive career included numerous Holes in One, perfect 300 games, and 800 series scores. Keith’s exceptional skill and dedication to the sport of bowling earned him induction into the Greater Birmingham USBC Hall of Fame for Superior Performance. He also loved the occasional trip to the lake for fishing.
Keith was a current member of Timberline Golf Course and a past member of Buxahatchee Country Club and Altadena Country Club. He bowled for many years at Vestavia Bowl and Bowlero Riverview, and served as a staff member for Columbia 300 Bowling Products as well as Ryan’s Pro Shop and Custom Apparel.
Keith was preceded in death by his father, Frank Nance; mother, Jacqueline Swisher; and brother, Daniel Nance.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his devoted wife, Dianne Nance; son, Ryan Nance (Angela); and brother, Robert Nance (Pam).
