Mr. Dutton is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Aileen Dutton, and his wife, Barbara Dutton. He is survived by his son, Louis “Bill” Dutton, Jr. (Stephanie); daughter, Gwen Daniel (Jeff); stepsons, Randy Braswell (Mary); Jeff Braswell (Julie); stepdaughter, Terri Morris (John); grandchildren, Trey and Kylie Dutton; Jared and Ben Daniel; Nick, Caitlin, Ashley and Bradley Braswell; Kathryn, Caroline, Elizabeth and Will Morris; 9 great grandchildren; and brother, Jon Dutton (Jean).
Pop worked for Sherman Industries and Kirkpatrick Concrete. He worked the past 18 years at Nichols Concrete. He loved antique cars, spending time at his farm, and playing Santa Claus for his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to say a special thanks to his wonderful caregiver, Keysha Jackson, and the caring staff at Comfort Care Hospice.
The celebration of Pop’s life will be at 6pm on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, with visitation from 4pm until 6pm. Rusty Hicks, Jimmy Lovvorn, Dale West, Randy Otwell, Jamie Otwell and Mike Dutton will serve as honorary pallbearers.
