Magnolia Seagraves passed away peacefully on June 21, 2020 at the age of 95. She was born on October 23, 1924 in McMinnville, TN, to the late Dollie Watson and D.P. (Shorty) Watson. Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Seagraves, and her brother Ralph Watson. She is survived by daughter Joyce Parker (Denson), grandsons, Brian Parker (Jennifer) of B'ham and Craig Parker of NYC, NY ; great-grandchildren Wilson Parker, Davis Parker, Mary Ellis Parker, Ava Parker, and Judson Parker; nephew, Darryl Watson and beloved sister-in-law Janie Watson. Maggie loved family, friends, animals, reading, and traveling. She was a longtime member of the Homewood Church of Christ. The family appreciates the staff at Shelby Ridge Alzheimer's unit and special friend Darlene Scazorro for caring for Maggie. A graveside service will be held in her honor on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
