Mary Jo Dawkins Davis Norwood, 85, of Birmingham, AL, passed away May 3, 2014. The Cordova, AL native was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
Mary Jo, a member of Calvary Tabernacle for over 40 years, is survived by one son, Johnny Davis (Veronica) of Birmingham; one daughter, Diane Worrell (Steve) of Alabaster, AL; three grandchildren, John Davis (Cindy) and David Davis (Lisa), all of Chelsea, AL, and Rebecca Jones (Warren) of Birmingham; and seven cherished great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. Celebration of Mary Jo's Life: 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham, with Rev. Terry Davis officiating and Rev. Mike Byars presenting special music. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery off Cahaba Valley Road in Shelby County, AL.
