PERRY, MARY RUTH, age 91 of Birmingham passed into the loving arms of Jesus her Savior Sunday, July 28, 2019. She was a long-time member of Shades Mtn. Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Perry; son Gerald W. Perry; parents Arthur and Marguerite Glass; brothers Bob Glass, Bill Glass; sister, Dorris Sisson. Survivors include her daughter ClaudeII (Gary) Ferebee; son Randy (Lotus) Perry; sisters Essie (Jimmy) Chandler and Jessie Atkinson; 2 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; many close friends & family. Her memorial service will be held at Southern Heritage Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 16, 2019; visitation 1-2:00 p.m., the service at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the small church of Mother's youth-Grantswood Baptist Church; 4850 Grantswood Pl.; Bham. 35210.
