Michael Barry Ellis

Mike received his formal education at Minor High School in Adamsville, Alabama. He went on to further his education at Bessemer Tech in Bessemer, Alabama.

Michael Ellis was united in holy matrimony with Joyce Keel in 1991 in Birmingham, Alabama. Their union was blessed with one daughter, Kayla Lee.

He was employed by AT&T for twenty years. In his leisure, he enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, Alabama football games, and enjoying the outdoors.

Michael Barry Ellis was preceded in death by his father, Robert Harris Ellis and his ex wife, Joyce Lee Gaissert.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Kayla Lee Ellis (Morgan Lindsey); his grandchildren, Abigail Mae Lindsey (2) and Lincoln Lee Lindsey (4 months); his mother, Marianna McCaleb Ellis; his brothers, Kenneth D. Ellis and Mark A. Ellis (Lori); and his niece and nephew, Britt Ellis and Mason Ellis.

Visitation will be held at Cleveland Church of Christ in Bankston, Alabama on Saturday, March 9 at 12 PM - 2 PM followed by a church service at 2:00 pm. Burial will follow at Cleveland Church of Christ Cemetery in Bankston, Alabama.
