

Friday, November 11, 2022, at the age of 76. Mike was born on March 30, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Louis C. Gurosky and June B. Gurosky. He graduated from Hueytown High School and went on to have a 40-year career with South Central Bell, which later became AT&T. Mike spent the next 15-years as a Project Manager for Myrick, Gurosky and Associates (MG+A), a company that specializes in the management of design and construction of churches throughout the southeast. Mike retired from MG+A in 2016. He married the love of his life, Linda Davis, in 1964 and they had 2 sons,
Jeff and Scott. They were married for 58 years. In 1979 Mike was in a car accident rendering him a paraplegic, but it did not stop his vigor and love for life. Mike was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, serving as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Pleasant Ridge Baptist church in Hueytown prior to moving his family to Vestavia Hills, 1983, where they joined Shades Mountain Baptist Church. Mike loved the outdoors, sports, hunting and most of all, spending time with his family. His life was a witness to everyone he encountered, leading his family and others through his unrelenting determination. Mike was preceded in death by both of his parents, his grandson Will Gurosky and his niece, Emily Knowles. He is survived by his wife Linda; sons Jeff (Suzanne) and Scott (Kelly); grandchildren Anna Catherine, Davis (Caylea) and Drew; sister-in-law Becky Knowles (Mike) and nephew John Michael; and his brother Ricky (Kit).
A memorial service will be held at Shades Mountain Baptist Church, 2017 Columbiana Road, Vestavia Hills, 35216, on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 2:00 pm, followed immediately
by a reception in the fellowship hall.

A memorial service for Michael will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shades Mountain Baptist, 2017 Columbiana Road, Birmingham, AL 35216.
