Miller DeRamus

Miller DeRamus, 74, of Vincent, Alabama, passed away from a brief, but hard fought battle with brain cancer, on August 11, 2023. He was born on February 8, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama. Miller was a caring, funny, and loving individual who brought joy to those around him.

Miller had a passion for horses, hunting, and fishing. He found solace in the great outdoors, spending countless hours immersed in nature. In his leisure time, Miller enjoyed watching old westerns, transporting himself to a bygone era of cowboys and adventure.

Miller is survived by his son, Sidney DeRamus, and his daughter, Ashley DeRamus. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Angelina DeRamus. Miller leaves behind the mother of his children, Connie DeRamus, who he was married to for 30 years and became close friends with in his latter years. Miller also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he cared about deeply.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Henry DeRamus, his mother, Eleanor DeRamus, and his sister, Katherine Caine. Their memories will forever be cherished by those who loved Miller.

The loss of Miller DeRamus leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him. His warm smile, gentle nature, and zest for life will be deeply missed.
