Nancy Knowles Davies, age 61 of Vestavia Hills, AL passed away on July 1, 2018. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. Her grandchildren were her everything. Mrs. Davies is survived by her husband, Sammy Davies; daughter, Heather (Phil) Pinkham; grandchildren, Samuel Hacker and Mary Frances Pinkham; mother, Betty Knowles; sister, Betty (Jim) Warren; and brother, Benny Knowles. Her father, Mr. Ben Knowles, precedes her in death. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Southern Heritage Funeral Home from 10am until 11am. A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will begin at 11am. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Nancy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama, 300 Office Park Dr. STE 225, Birmingham, AL 35233.
