Patty graduated from Crest High School and earned her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University. Her professional career in the eye care industry included several years in supervisory positions at Vision First. In her leisure, she shared her enjoyment of making and decorating cookies and cakes with her two children and seven grandchildren.
Patty is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Dean Bridges; children, Mark Bridges and Julie Bell; and grandchildren, Hannah, Eli, Olivia, Harrison, Camille, Henry, and Evelyn.
Family and friends will celebrate Patty Bridges' life at a memorial gathering from 3-5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama.
