Most of his youth was spent in California. He served in the Army in Japan and was recalled for the Berlin Crisis. Peter retired from the Social Security Administration in Birmingham and went on to pursue his interest in designing and building small or larger projects.
He was very witty with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed a good joke and often played jokes on friends.
Peter is survived by his wife, Marie Bell, his daughter, Kimberly, his sister Kathryn Martin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He loved God, his country, and his family and will be so very much missed.
Many thanks to the kind, compassionate people at Enhabit Health and Hospice.
