Hood, Rachel Hope of Chelsea went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 10, 2013 at the age of 41. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt, mother and friend to many. Her beautiful smile and gracious memory will be cherished forever in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents Cecil and Juanita Mock; and grandmother Verlee Wells. She leaves to honor her memory a devoted husband, Christopher Hood; two children, Christian Hood and Christine Hood; her mother, Wanda Webb; her father Bobby (Debbie) Wells; grandfather, Robert L. “Chief” Wells; a loving sister and brother, Jennifer (Stephen) Poshadlo and Griffin Webb; a special sister-in-law, Wendy Romine; three special nieces Kathryn Poshadlo and Katelyn Poshadlo; and Cassie Romine; and a host of other very special family and friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16th 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and the Farewell Ceremony will be held Sunday, March 17th at 2:00 pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
