Richard "Bud" A. Cordell

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Ruby Cordell, sister Nancy Ann Cordell, brother Jerry Cordell, and daughter Mary Beth Grooms.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Rosemary Buskirk Cordell. Son Lee (Toni) of Apple Valley, California, daughters Dana (Brian) Emery, Kim (Bob) Fesmire, and Carol Gray all of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Step children Amanda (Nick) Seagle of Auburn, Alabama and Richard (Tanja) Rodriguez of Alabaster, Alabama. Sisters Gayle (John) Barrett and Sandra Hobbs of Chattanooga, Tennessee, brothers Tony (Donna) Cordell of Cleveland, Tennessee, and Jackie Cordell of Seattle, Washington. A host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Compassus Hospice especially Ashley, Amber, and Denise for their care and compassion during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be at Southern Heritage, 475 Cahaba Valley Rd Pelham, Alabama. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 28, 2025 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a graveside to follow at 1:00 pm in the adjoining cemetery.
