Wayne Jerkins, age 76 of Chelsea, passed away on July 6, 2016. He graduated from The University Southern California, was a Captain of the US Air Force for 4 years and worked for Pizitz and Metro Storage and Truck Rental. Wayne is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sue Jerkins; sons, Richard (Kimberly) Jerkins Jr., Gary Jerkins and Allen (Tonya) Jerkins; daughters, Dawn (Rich) Walter and Leslie (Amy) Jerkins; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Garrett, Jacqueline, Tommy, Parker, Hallye, Trey, Gary, Christina, Christopher, Matthew and Josephine; great-granddaughter, Scarlett.. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 10, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm with the Celebration of Life Service starting at 2pm at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request donations made to the Wounded Warrior Project or The Bruno Cancer Center in Wayne’s memory
