Robert "Bob" N. Dyer

Robert N. Dyer "Bob", born July 15, 1947, passed away on May 16th, 2023, at the age of 75. Robert was born to Nathan and Georgia Dyer in Tifton, Georgia. After graduating high school, Robert served in the United States Army. Upon his completion of service, he attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 1971. He was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He moved to Birmingham where he worked such companies as, Landscape Services, Ewing Irrigation and John Deere Landscapes. He had a love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He started his own company in 2000, (Dyer & Company) and then finally retired in 2020. He was greeted in heaven by both his parents, Nathan and Georgia.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Stamps; his sons, Richard (Jessica), Charlie (Becky) and their sons, Rush and Connor; his sister, Harriet Dyer Pullen (Robert) and their sons, Nathan and Joseph.

A visitation will be held for Robert on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 3:30 to 5:30 pm at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, followed by a service at 5:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations in Bob Dyer's name, be made to the American Heart Association, Wounded Warriors Project (www.woundedwarrioeproject.org) or Dementia Society of America (www.dementiasociety.org).
