Sara Jane Wright

Sara Jane Wright of Helena, Alabama passed away on September 4, 2019, at the age of 87. She was born February 3, 1932, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Delilah and Clarence Mink. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Wright; brother, Olan Shirey; and grandson, Conner Wright.

Sara was a dedicated mother to her three children, Kathy Gossett; Steve Wright; and Kelley Cooper. She was beloved by her grandchildren, Krista Townsend; Kimberly Powell; Jamie Burgess; Kristina Steele; Ashley Flora; and Tyler Wright; along with six great-grandchildren, Lily Townsend; Emma Townsend; Isabella Burgess; Austin Blakley; Colton Steele; and Carleigh Joan Steele.

The family is planning a memorial service for a later date. In honor of Sara please donate in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
