Steven Joseph Kaiser

Steven Joseph Kaiser, age 60, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. He was born to the union of Frederick Ralph Kaiser and Barbara Shaddix Kaiser in Birmingham, AL. Steve was a member of Edgewood Presbyterian church. He was married to Allison Smelley-Kaiser on May 1, 2004. Steve worked for Supreme Beverage and Gulf Distributing for 34 years. For the last couple of years, he was involved with renovating homes. In his leisure, he loved watching Alabama football and playing golf. He always had a Mountain Dew in his hand, a smile on his face and a twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes. Steve loved to travel and was always willing to help a friend. He was generous with his time and knowledge. There wasn't a task he wasn't willing to conquer. Steve was quick witted and was always ready to tell his "dad jokes."

Steve was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ralph Kaiser and Barbara Caviness; his son, Kevin Kaiser.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Allison Smelley-Kaiser; his son, Brian Kaiser; three brothers, Fred Kaiser, David Kaiser (Beth) and Chris Kaiser (Nicole); two nieces, Katy and Claire; three nephews, Bretton, Kelley and C.J. Kaiser.

A visitation for Steven will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
