Sue White Snyder

Sue White Snyder, 85, of Pelham, Alabama went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Sue was born in Houston, Alabama on June 28, 1936 to Irvin and Myrtle White, and was raised in the Hueytown, Alabama community.

Sue graduated from Florida A&M and UAB with a Masters Degree and AA Certification in Special Education. She was retired from the Birmingham Public Schools system.

Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Myrtle White, and her brother, William Ben White. She is survived by her husband, John H. Snyder, Sr.; three children, Bryan K. Weekley (Mary), Kevin A. Weekley (Gabriele), and Karen S. Fitch (Tommy); her sisters, Mary Blasi (John) and Martha Lemley (Mark); sister-in-law, Janice White; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends at Pelham First Baptist Church.

Sue's family and friends will gather on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham for visitation from 2-3 p.m. and A Service of Remembrance 3 p.m. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. Dr. Daven Watkins will officiate.
