Terri Maddox Jonseof, 52, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, February 8, 2017. She was born on November 23, 1964 in Sylacauga, AL, and had lived in the Birmingham, AL area for the past 17 years.
Terri earned her undergraduate degree in Education at the University of Alabama and taught public schools for several years. She was most passionate, however, in her selfless support of her husband and children's professional, academic, and athletic endeavors. She was the consummate team mother!
Terri is survived by her husband of 27 years, Ernie Jonseof; her parents, James and Sybil Maddox of Sylacauga; her daughter, Kendall Jonseof; her son, Jameson Jonseof; two sisters, Pam Conn (Frank) and Vicki Green (Billy), all of Sylacauga; nephews and nieces, Taylor Wesson, Cheston Wesson, Luke Conn, Adalyn Conn, Sarah Aronson, Ben Aronson, and Janie Aronson; great-niece, Lynlee Wesson; mother- and father-in-law, Ernie and Pat Jonseof; and sister-in-law, Tracey Aronson.
The visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL. A Celebration of Terri's Life will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Valleydale Baptist Church, Terri's home church. The private graveside service and burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to a college scholarship trust fund established to benefit Terri's beloved children. All donations can be made to College Counts, P.O. Box 85290, Lincoln, NE 68501. Please list one of Terri's children's names on the check's memo line.
