Thomas "Tom" Lynn Miller

Thomas “Tom” Lynn Miller passed away January 1, 2017, he was 72 years of age. Tom was born in Lafayette, Indiana where he met his wife, Pamela (nee Miller), of 53 years. After graduating from Purdue University, with a B.S. in Industrial Management, he spent the last 35 years of his career with Motion Industries, Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama. While working in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, California, and Illinois, he made many friends and served as an officer in several professional organizations. Tom was also a 50 year member of the Indiana Masonic Lodge. After retiring in 2009, he found satisfaction in his Greystone Country Club Membership and the many friends he made through holding office and playing golf, his favorite hobby. Tom is survived by his wife; his son, Troy J. of Clermont, FL; his daughter, Katherine C. Armstrong (Mrs. Ralph Armstrong) of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Carl L. of Chelsea, Alabama; his sister, Karen F. Albert of Tallahassee, Florida; and six grandchildren, upon whom he doted. He was preceded by his parents, Paul and Pauline Miller and his son, Jason, age 21. In lieu of flowers friends and family who wish to honor his memory may offer funds or services to the cause of their choosing. Visitation will be at Southern Heritage on Sunday ,January 8, 2017 at 4:00pm with a celebration of life service at 5:00pm.
