

Tim was born in Birmingham, AL on February 10, 1960. In 1978, he graduated from Ensley High School, where he was an All-City center on the varsity football team.
Tim received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama in Accounting, and later earned the Master of Business Administration Degree at Samford University. Tim was employed as a CPA and Controller for American Family Care.
At Lakeside Baptist Church in Birmingham, Tim was an ordained deacon who served in many capacities.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Karen Hawk; two sons, Timothy Brett Hawk (Cami) and Alexander Brasfield Hawk; and mother-in-law, Frances B. Warren.
The family extends special thanks to the staff and doctors of Palliative Care and Comfort Unit at UAB for their loving care of Tim as he fought his courageous battle with cancer.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL, immediately followed by the 11 a.m. celebration of Tim's life at Ridout's Southern Heritage Chapel, Pelham. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham. Dr. Steve Layton and Dr. Greg Corbin will officiate.
