

Wanda Sturgis Frost, age 78, of Homewood, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025. She was born in Homewood on October 8, 1946, and graduated from Shades Valley High School. On November 14, 1965, she married the love of her life, Andrew Martin Frost.
Wanda had a long and successful career in telecommunications, serving as a manager at South Central Bell. She was a devoted member of Third Presbyterian Church and had a deep passion for exploring national parks, biking the trails of Sanibel Island, shelling along its shores, and spending quality time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Frost; daughters, Rachel Frost Brockman and Rebecca Frost Owen; grandchildren, Stewart Brockman, Ashley Brockman Kirkland, Harrison Owen, Winston Owen, and Emory Owen; great-grandchildren, Chloe Kirkland, Flint Kirkland, and Joel Kirkland; and siblings, Walter Ammon, Dottie Ammon, and Marshall “Skeet” Edmonson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Edmonson and Harold Alvin Sturgis, and her sister, Janice Sturgis May.
Visitation will be held at 9 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 10 a.m., on Monday, July 28, 2025, at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home and Cemetery in Pelham, Alabama.
