Bill served in the U.S. Air Force and later graduated with honors from Howard College, now Samford University. He co-founded Mortgage & Capital Investors where he worked until retirement.
Bill is survived by his wife, Dean Cordar King; daughters, Kim Street (Joe) and Katherine Hamn (James); seven grandchildren; and one sister, Dot Moore.
Bill was a member of 3rd Presbyterian Church, where the visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until the 2 p.m. Memorial Service on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the 3rd Presbyterian Church Building Fund, Sav-a-Life, or Brother Bryan Mission.
