My deepest sympathy to the Payne family.  I have a lot of great memories with Billy from school that will never be forgotten.  We all will be with Billy again some day.

I am so sorry to hear that Billy passed.  He was a great guy and fun to work with here in St. Pete.  I will remember him fondly and treasure his friendship.

Please accept my prayers for your family.  Billy was a joy to recruit and coach while we were together at Samford.  You have a wonderful family and that love with get you through these next several days. May the love of Jesus Christ be with you always and forever.

Payne family, I am so sorry for your loss.  I know there must be comfort in knowing you will see Billy again one day.  Billy and I went to school together from sometime in elementary, all the way through high school.  I had not seen him in years, but was still just as disturbed by his passing. Billy I know at the end of your life we weren't speaking and I regret that.  I just wanted to let you know that even though you and me had are problems I still love you and I will always regret that I didn't get to talk to you again but I remember the good time on the field busting heads.  I know your up in heaven knocking the hell out of a QB.  I hope one day we will be there together.  Goodbye Brother I love you.
